Dragon’s Eye , 2021

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION

This artwork is supposed to be a dragon's eye with colourful scales. It was made in January 2021 and was made on paper (8.5 x 11). It has shading in it and shows a lot of vibrant colours in a majestic animal. The artwork portrays a world of possibility.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Qayim Kanji is an 11-year-old artist in Grade 6 and attends Westboro Academy in Ottawa. He dislikes traditional art but likes exploring art through technology in an independent manner. He has exhibited art at the 2020 apARTogether national exhibit. He started art through school in Grade 1 and has continued since then. He enjoys colouring as a way of relaxing.
