Farid’s love for fine art was realized while growing up in Kenya. He was strongly influenced by his art teacher, Mr. Njoroge, and inspired by his father's artwork (who was an untrained artist and painted using oil paints on glass!). Farid's preferred medium is pencil, watercolours, and acrylics. Farid’s favourite artist are the wildlife extraordinaire David Shephard, Carl Brenders, and WWII aircraft artist Barrie Clark. Farid is also a self-taught artist and is encouraged to pursue and continue his art by his family.
