Adelaide MacKinnon donated this Hollywood dress sewing pattern. She sewed all her children’s clothing on a sewing machine and ordered the patterns through the mail. This pattern is the Hollywood Pattern #1244, size 18, for making women’s dresses. It reflects the collective experiences of how Canadian women came of age in the 1940s, followed the fashion trends and made their tailored clothes.
