The course exploring the collection at Glenside Hospital Museum has seen Allison Schooler rethink both herself as an artist and her preconceptions of padded cells.
"I had preconceived the padded cell to be a barbaric space until I learnt of the protective kindness of the space during the Outside In course at Glenside Hospital Museum."
Allison is currently working on new work as a result of the course.
