This winter photograph was taken at Calder Glen Country Park in East Kilbride. Although I no longer live in East Kilbride I have returned to this park many times where I played as a youth. I have swam and fished in the river on warm summer days long before the park was created and when the town development was just beginning. If my memory is correct this part was known as the horseshoe falls due to its curve.
