With the confidants of walking form one room to another, I was set on a path that would lead me to "dropout," literally overnight. My life, with all that encompassed as a successful artist and teacher in Florida, abruptly ended. The fall of 1973 marked the end of an era. I put my home on the market, resigned my teaching position, and moved to the Smokey Mountains of North Georgia.
This was the last painting in Florida
