THE PREDATOR is an example of INTARSIA. Intarsia is comprised of different species of wood cut out in different shapes and fitted to make a mosaic like picture. This piece uses Walnut, Cherry, Aspen, Yellowheart and Western red Cedar. No paint or stain is used. It is finished in urethane. There are 95 pieces and it took 24 hours to complete.
