Mono Jelly iI , 2022
100 x 80 cm (h x w)
#abstract #digital #art

Jellyfish have roamed Earth's oceans for 500 million years, one of the most resilient species. When oceans are heating up, they can thrive in warmer water, absorbing 93% of that excess heat, with less oxygen. Some 4,000 species of them, extremely good at reproducing where a breeding female nettle, can spawn 45,000 eggs per day. Capturing this dangerously beautiful jellies on digital canvas, is one way to expand my world of imagination. First featured on my IG etstrikesback in Feb 2022.
NB. The Mono series was inspired by Ritzal Shawn.
