CAL is a Fallen Angel who is out of control with fear and panic. Curled into the fetal position, protecting his head, he is terrified. Formerly, he would have been an impressive brute, confident in his station, strength and size, but for reasons unknown, he has fallen, and he is not yet able to cope.
FALLEN ANGELS is an evolving, compassionate study of human grief; the beauty and strength as seen from above the epicentre of shock, pain, failure, desperation and loss, as well as the essential pause, like a held breath, at the moment reality sinks in. In times of trauma, this is the point of view - above and outside - to which we instinctively try to escape.
This series is my tribute to love.
