Lucille Ball was an actress, comedienne, and producer. In the 1950s, she starred in the iconic “I Love Lucy” television series with her husband Cuban-American actor Desi Arnaz. Ball and Arnaz were the first interracial couple to appear on American television. The couple founded a production company which produced “I Love Lucy” and other shows such as “The Untouchables” and “Star Trek.”
