Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush, Tennessee. She rose up from poverty and a tumultuous relationship with bandleader Ike Turner to become one of the most famous female artists in the history of rock and roll.

Joan Ruth Bader Ginsburg served as an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1993 until her passing in 2020.
