Spacing Out is an experimental and abstract video work highlighting a wide range of emotions related to anxiety.
“We were trying to depict the many stages that we personally go through when we experience anxiety or intrusive thoughts. Sometimes you want to be able to be free and let go, but your thoughts are too loud.”
Their idea started out as a project part of this year’s INTAC exhibition. Together with their group, Yellow Mosaics who chose mental health as their theme, they were able to collaborate. The sound design of the video is also done by a member of their INTAC group, Tom Salkov.
