Three combs from Nagada tombs, early 1st dynasty, circa 3500 BCE
They are made of bone: broken comb surmounted by a bird, height: 10.7 cm; comb surmounted by a gazelle, height: 17 cm, and comb surmounted by two birds, height:12.8cm. Currently: Oxford, Ashmolean Museum.
