After beating Marco Antonio Barrera six months earlier, the Filipino superstar would turn his attention to face another Mexican legend & WBA Super Featherweight & IBF Featherweight Champion Juan Manuel Marquez. In Round 1 Pacquiao knocked down Marquez three times with the Mexican champion rallying back with the fight ending in a controversial draw.
