This artwork uses two clocks as its subjects and the second, minute and hour hands of both clocks are synchronized. When one of the clocks runs out of battery and stops working, both clocks will be reset to the same time. Two clocks synchronizing with each other resemble "perfect lovers".
This artwork also engages with the subject of time and life itself. The two clocks reminiscent of a couple of lovers absorbed in a sense of time unique to their intimate relationship. But no matter how "perfect" the lovers are to each other, the fact that life itself is impermanent and the passage of time is irreversible might provoke our fear of losing our beloved ones. Incarnating the "perfect lovers", the artwork also suggests to viewers that we should value the limited time we have during our lifetime.
