“Blink And You’ll Miss It” was an experiment where the artist took each square and did one a day for about three weeks. Each square is hand carved to create a relief image. It creates a sequential effect that resembles a comic book story, but also can be seen as the stills of a stop motion film. It takes natural features and transforms them from human to nature and is a meditation on how eyes have been central to communicating in the past couple years.
