I am a Derbyshire based photographer and printmaker. It was my lifelong passion for photography that led me, in recent years, to discover the world of printmaking and, although I now work across a range of media and techniques I still most enjoy those which allow some crossover between the two, and my photographs are often the basis for my printmaking practice. Themes in my work are varied, but travel and nature often seem to feature, and I love playing with colour and texture. Inspiration can come from anything at any time and I'm happy to go where it leads me. Above all, I create images for the sheer joy of making them and hope they'll bring some of that joy to the people who look at them.
