Argote encompasses her childhood and identity as a mexican american in this floor plan of her childhood home during the time of her move from Guadalajara, Mexico to Los Angeles. She recognizes the identity struggle and duality of self that exists for immigrants, building personal connections with her audience by opening herself up and connecting to the public.
