This is an abstract representation of structure and presence, within defined boundaries. Tenuous connections still exist, in a fractured environment.

I used fabric with raw edges, cotton cording and paper from museum flyers and maps, to create a multi-layer, mixed media collage. The layers are machine quilted, with stitching that echoes and defines the direction of the fabric collage pieces.
