70% of the world’s cacao beans come from West Africa, where over 2 million children work on cocoa farms. The overwhelming majority live in poverty, lured with promises of education, money and a better life. The world's biggest chocolate companies turn a blind eye to this not-so-secret child labour. They fool their consumers and take advantage of some of the world's poorest children. Fur Die Kinder expresses my outrage and deep sorrow the children who never even get to taste a chocolate bar.
