Frederick Douglass is an amazing person to read about. An escaped slave that became an abolitionist, phenomenal orator, writer, and respected statesman. While watching a few documentaries on slavery and the Civil War, I was inspired to do a scratchboard related to the theme. After some reading, I decided on this amazing person.
