This is my perception of how others may see me now that I have Parkinson’s Disease and cancer – a doddery old figure, with limited mobility, shaking his way into a rather clinical cage of restriction. (The blue is the Parkinson’s colour). The joy of freedom is left behind.
I have deliberately left these paintings looking rather raw and almost unfinished as I think they better capture the emotion I felt when painting.
It is my hope that my painting helps friends to see the smile on the inside.
