Aus dem Zyklus "Blickwinkel Oper"
Inszenierung von Sven-Eric Bechtolf an der Wiener Staatsoper 2010, Herbert Lippert in der Partie des "Offiziers". Darstellung des Offiziers mit Cardillac, dem Goldhändler, im Kampf um das wertvolle Metall "Gold" in der Oper von Paul Hindemith.
Im Zentrum des Gemäldes steht der, von Cardillac hergestellte, brillante und wertvolle Goldschmuck. In Rage singend, versuchen die beiden Dargestellten, ihre Emotionen und ihren Gesang zu bündeln um dem jeweiligen Anderen zu imponieren als auch zu überzeugen.
Nur zwei Farben beherschen die Szene. Ultramarinblau und Azurblau, aber nur der in Gelb,- und Orangetönene dargestellte schimmernde Goldschmuck nimmt durch seine exzentrische Farben
komposition die ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf sich.

Production by Sven-Eric Bechtolf at the Vienna State Opera 2010, Herbert Lippert in the role of the "Officer". Depiction of the officer with Cardillac, the gold merchant, in the struggle for the valuable metal "gold" in the opera by Paul Hindemith.
In the centre of the painting is the brilliant and valuable gold jewellery produced by Cardillac. Singing in rage, the two sitters try to combine their emotions and their singing to impress as well as convince the other.
Only two colours dominate the scene. Ultramarine blue and azure blue, but only the shimmering gold jewellery in shades of yellow and orange attracts all the attention with its eccentric colour composition.
