Beautiful and very rare wooden mask painted in black and brown. A seated figure rests on top of the head. The eyes are closed and the features are delicate. Ornamental scarification on forehead. Some of the paint is coming off of the forehead and mouth area. Ibo Tribe, Nigeria, 13"x6".
