My name is José, and my artist name is ‘Nicolage.’ My family has always been a big support system, my parents Maximo and Martha, and my younger brother and two sisters. We were very comfortable, and I was able to explore my interests and nourish my art skills growing up in Nicaragua. I began to draw faces and objects, with a major focus on the female figure. Upon coming to Tampa, FL my interest in art grew and I began exploring collage and abstract works. Creating art relieves tension for me. I have only words filled with gratitude and joy to share my artistic talent with Project Return and the world. Earth goes around the universe.
