Marcos's Headshot & Biography

I was in the Army for four years.

I have two beautiful daughters, 13 and 15, I am also married and have a German shepard lab mix, a baby bearded dragon, and a baby tortoise.

While in the Army, I got to meet a lot of wonderful people and travel a little as well. In the Army, I was a fire support specialist; I was the one behind the scene calling mortar rounds and artillery. Due to my special certification, which was Jtac, I was also able to call naval and air support. I was stationed in Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Art has helped in so many ways. It allows me to take the images in my head and put them on paper and create something extremely difficult into something beautiful. Art has allowed other people, like my wife, to see what I see in a different light because it’s not always easy for me to talk about some of my feelings. But with art, it’s not trapped in my head all the time.

There are a lot of different things that inspired my art. Some of the things are my time in the military, my kids, my wife, my pets, my burdens and happiness, and many other things.
I am completely honored by this opportunity.
