JUST ANOTHER DAY

Life on the line for the red white & blue, I would have gladly died for you.
I do not hesitate… don’t give a damn, my life for freedom… I’m yours Uncle Sam.
I like to eat fake eggs and Spam, I love my country, GI Joe I am.
Not old enough to vote – much less to drink, but I would die for you – what do you think?
I went to ‘Nam for you, and you, and you, ready to die for the red, white, and blue.
You may have no GED or a doctor’s degree, you have my six – that is all that matters to me.
Life is many circles, where will it end? Thousands of miles, or around the next bend.
As we navigate our way down the road of life, we will hit some potholes – some cause for strife.
Certainly we will hit some bumps along the way, but, as we look back, it’s just another day.
