The unimaginable happened. Early in the morning, all of us Ukrainians found ourselves in a new one
reality
I never thought, never even imagined, drawing something like this. This graphic project was born
almost from the first days of the full-scale war with the occupier.
It all started with small digital sketches from photos, which managed to publicize the news that
became in Ukraine, and even helped to collect money for volunteering, namely for bulletproof vests.
Then there was communication with the military, trips to the liberated territories, and it was all drawn from
natures.The first thing that struck me (in a bad way) was Borodyanka, I didn't even know if
it is normal to stand and draw a place where more than a dozen people died. I started sketching and met
locals, and here I hear: "You draw very well, draw it, the world should see it." I don't even
I know how to comment on this situation. Then he painted Irpin, Horyenka, Moschun, various roadblocks in
places where we volunteered, smashed equipment of the invaders, etc.
I believe that the world needs all these sketches not only as a kind of artifact, but as a reminder,
that the war is going on And as not only an artist, but also as a volunteer, I want to tell people that we should not
to stop in our struggle.
