A few weeks after the war started I’ve been contacted by The Washington Post with the request to contribute some illustrations to their upcoming issue. There were no particulate theme, I was free to draw anything related to the situation I was on. I did two pieces. This one is about first days of the war, when people were trying to escape their homes that were under attack. I myself was among these people, trying to find a safer place in Ukraine.
