For this artwork I aimed to communicate the notion of being alone and having a sense of peace. I aimed to convey the state of solitude but with the feeling that you are ok, that you can continue by yourself. An artist that I used for inspiration for this artwork was the impressionist painter Claude Monet. I wanted to capture a moment in time with loose brushstrokes, portraying an optimistic feeling.
