This photograph depicts the notion of being alone and having a sense of trepidation. The light falling on the tree branches at dusk is the only imagery that can be identified. The lifelessness of these trees suggests an uncertain solitude. I took this photograph at Mount Buller. The location of this photograph was a two-hour hike down Moonlight Ridge, off the summit. To get there I used snow shoes and skis and waited for the sun to set so I could capture the last remaining light of day to project the solitary mood.
