As I sit reading on my birthday,, a ghostly me sits beside me with birthday balloons. I created the image by first taking a normal setting photo of myself reading on the stairs, then set the camera to Tv setting, with ISO setting of 100, shutter speed of 8'' and small aperture. I then sat on the stairs in a different position and outfit as the ghost, and held the pose for about two thirds of the time the shutter was open, before then getting up and walking out of the shot. This created the transparent ghostly image. I then used Photoshop to cut and layer the first image of myself on to the ghost one so they appeared in the same image. I then turned the image to black and white then applied a sepia

filter and adjusted brightness and contrast. I had fun trying out ideas for this and learnt some new photography skills too.
