Bubbles!
Researchers, like artists, might start with questions and ideas, perhaps seemingly naive or ad hoc at first. If an idea happily survives this first mercialess filter something wonderful can happen. Call it study, call it experiment, call it break through … the process of creativity has begun! Artists like scientists love to make mistakes, love to improve their material and enjoy the ride as our projects evolve… In this painting I tried to visualize the process of creative work. All kinds of bubbles emerge from a vantage point that is not on the canvas. Does it remind you of the Big Bang? A glass of champagne? The cover of a 1970’s pop album? You are welcome.
