VCD Final Presentation Board , 2022
120 x 84 cm (h x w)

The client Eric is the CEO at Odds & Ends. Odds & Ends is a recently launched retail company which is looking to expand their brand to Melbourne. Inspired by companies like Myer, Muji and Kmart, Odds & Ends sells a wide variety of household and consumer items such as clothing, stationary, cutlery, furniture, storage, electronics etc. Much like the graphic design seen in many of these companies, Odds & Ends favours a minimal yet informative appearance to their graphics. Their business philosophy revolves around providing the customer with a convenient ‘all-in-one’ shopping experience. The company also has a big emphasis on the diversity of their inventory and the impact that their products have on the environment.
Odds & Ends currently has a website which allows the company to advertise and sell/ship their products however, for their next project, CEO Eric and the members of the board are looking to expand their company’s presence in Melbourne with a refurbished brand identity and a new store close to/within Melbourne’s CBD. In the past the CEO Eric has also considered food and beverage services but was limited by shipping times and restrictions. The new store will allow Odds & Ends to revisit this idea as customers will be able to directly purchase products off the shelves.

Presentation 1: The client requires a design for their new store in Melbourne’s CBD which should be able to display all the different products they sell.
Presentation 2: The client needs a new brand identity and logo support their expansion into Melbourne. A style guide will also be included to help guide the marketing team when creating advertisements and other graphics.
