In the artist's own words: "The idea for the painting came about when I was nine months pregnant and expecting my baby. Then I created a sketch for this picture. And the picture itself was already painted after the birth of my first son. The son was named Seraphim. That is why we see that the six-winged angel Seraphim opened his wings and blesses the born baby. We also see parents bending over their treasure and blessing it. A parental blessing is the strongest and saves a person from many troubles. That's why I called the picture - Blessing. Also at the horizon we see the rising sun before dawn - this is a symbol of the birth of a new day and a new life. I would like every viewer, looking at this picture, to remember that every person has the right to life, to create a family and to have a happy childhood. I chose just such a technique of multilayer painting to show the vibration of space in the picture."
