Daria Piccotti defines herself a “Photowriter”, she takes pictures, she writes and she explores the transformative union of these two worlds. Since she was a child she has loved telling her view on the world by photography. She began with a roll camera gifted to her when she was eleven years old, then she carried on her experiments on her own, until she decided to attend a photography academy during her Art studies at Turin University. She bought her first reflex camera, she immersed herself in every photographic genre and she realized that she was able to express her inner world by photography. During her reserches at University she understood that by combining photography and word it was possible to power up both of them, with a deeper communicative extent. She chose to pursue this way and make it her world.
