John Hicks, born and living in South Wales, has a degree in Graphic Design with illustration, graduating university in1988. He has worked as a graphic designer /illustrator and artist. John has been a secondary school teacher for 30 years, teaching Art and Photography. This ‘Under Pressure’ series has a mental health theme, reflecting the stress experienced by people in John’s life. Cathartic to paint, hopefully cathartic to view.
