Arty-Fact: The artwork challenges the viewer to acknowledge life and truly live it without the noise generated by society’s rules and regulations. The work leverages the quote from the infamous movie, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, "Buy the ticket, take the ride…” to help deliver this message.

Imagery from the movie reminds the viewer of the memorable ride Johnny Depp takes essentially leaving said rules and regulations (as well as reality) and entering into a realm of personal discovery and life. The New Yorker magazine background, a somewhat quirky and artistic print, further adds a sense of departure from reality with its cartoon depictions of the human and earthly form.
