This series is influenced by Saeng Gwang Park’s use of traditional vibrant colours named obang-saek, which consists of five rudimentary colours. He attempted to search the cultural core as his contemporary cultural paradigm was drastically shifting. The seasons symbolically reinforces femininity which symbolises beauty, purity, or sadness. Nevertheless, the series is still subtly ambivalent, as the grey colour scheme gives a sense of devoid emotions and the figures implies unpleasantness.
