Artist Statement

This photo was inspired by an old Goddess in mythology, I wanted to create in image that would represent the moon Goddess Luna and the aura that she admits. Luna is the ancient Roman moon goddess who derives her name from the Latin lucere, meaning 'to shine' and was seen not only as the divine embodiment of the moon but also the female counterpart of the sun. I tried to represent this by creating a halo crown on my model and placing her on a galaxy background.
