This piece is to this day, the piece I am the most proud of. It took over 20 hours to create, and included many mediums. For a project; we were required to recreate a group of 7 famous image, but in a different medium. I chose to recreate “Street Albert Bay” by Emily Carr. I recreated this in watercolour, and pencil crayon for the Details. This piece turned out extremely well, and I am thankful for the inspiration of Emily Carr.
Sophie Hay is a student at Michael power St. Joseph SS. her work is a done in a traditional, semi-realistic style. She likes focusing on perspectives and emotions when creating her work. In her free time she swims and sketches.
