What She is to Me, What I am to Her , 2023
Digital

My poster aims to reinforce ecofeminism from the perspective of indigenous women, to emphasise and raise awareness of the interconnectivity that exists between women and nature. Looking through the lens of indigenous culture, it looks at sacred spiritual energies and the wisdom that they believe in. These glass hanging mobiles reflects interconnection, a sense of purpose, how what was once waste is now something that carries so much beauty in its craftsmanship. The essence of native spiritual energies, such as elements that have roots on the earth, can be seen in some of the glass hangings, a representation of our connection to Mother Earth and her waters, and a way for us to reflect upon that. Essentially, She is to us what we are to Her.
