Inspired by the glitches you would experience on your television
boxes in the 70s and 80s I wanted to represent the distance I feel when communicating
through screens and how the whole experience is distorted however it is seeping more
and more into our everyday reality. I wanted to see how I could extend this distorted effect
out from the painted effect to the structure of the frame over which the canvas is pulled.
