Eva manipulates the human form, making her models anatomically inaccurate warping the human form while retaining sympathetically human gesture and experience. As technology has developed, our identities have become increasingly intertwined with the digital image of ourselves; we may warp and edit our bodies with ease.

Through her visual language, Eva explores mental health, disorientation, imbalance, distortion, sublime disturbance, unease and interference, and conceptualises those experiences. She seeks to break the boundary between herself and her audience by “evoking emotions they hadn’t known were theirs”, and by connecting to their experiences: “I don’t want to tell them what to feel, but to explore how a painting can relate to them and their subconscious.”
