This project is intended to represent how a person changes overtime due to their experiences.
Whatever is done to this box symbolizes a different type of life experience. Good or bad.
At the end of this exhibition, this box should look entirely different.
Originally, this project was just going to be about destruction and releasing your anger, as I place a lot of importance on that. I decided to shift the concept because of the value I see in experiences. This shift in concept symbolizes how I have changed as a person. Over the years, I have placed more value on experiences and learning from each of them, and I want that to show in my project.

Second Studio Scenario: Interventions and Possibilities.
Del Rio Housing Statement:
My idea for this project was to create a housing development in Del Rio, TX, that is space efficient, high quality, inclusive, and centered around fostering community. The development includes three different models: one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom. I feel that this will encompass the majority of people, and each of these homes have flexible spaces as well. These homes follow a material scheme that includes concrete, stucco, wood, and brick. These materials have been around for centuries, and served this climate well, adapting with the drastic temperature changes throughout the day.
The centerpiece of this project is the “shared backyard”. In order to use the space more efficiently, meanwhile encouraging a tight-knit community, I designed an outdoor area in the middle of the four-residence community that includes: an outdoor kitchen, shaded lounge area, fire pit, and large playground. I believe that this communal space will make it easier for natives, immigrants, and people from all walks of life to build community with one another.
