My artwork represents the theme of community by the meaning behind the drawings. My artwork represents diversity and how a community is not just a place/location (etc. a neighbourhood), but also can be more like a welcoming area or spot in someone's heart. For example, the LGBTQ+ community is where everyone is welcomed no matter what or who they identify as. Similarly, the street I live on is also a welcoming community where everyone can feel safe. In my artwork, I include many different varieties of the meaning of community from other peoples perspectives. Overall, my drawing "Our Home" is truly supposed to feel like our home.
