Eine Intervention im Stadtraum Berlin
Am Rand von Wochenmärkten sitzt eine Künstlerin an einem rosa Tisch mit rosa Aschenbecher. Sie hat zuvor mit einer Greifzange Kippen gesammelt und auf dem Tisch angeordnet. Jetzt malt sie sie auf kleine, rosa grundierte, quadratische Bildflächen. Bei aller Konzentration wird auch das Gespräch mit Passanten gesucht und ihre Kommentare gesammelt.
Fertige Bilder werden auf kleinen Stelzen aus Draht montiert und auf den Grünflächen aufgestellt. Eine leichte, fast schwebende Installation beginnt in den öffentlichen Raum zu wuchern. Die unappetitlichen Zigarettenstummel, die Grundwasser, Pflanzen und Tiere schädigen, sind zu ästhetischen Objekten geworden und enthüllen ungeahnte Schönheit und Variantenreichtum.
Die Aktion wird an acht Terminen zwischen Juni und September 2023 auf verschiedenen Wochenmärkten in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf durchgeführt. Dauer jeweils von 9–14 Uhr.

An intervention in the urban space of Berlin
At the edge of weekly markets, an artist sits at a pink table with a pink ashtray. She previously collected butts with a pair of pliers and arranged them on the table. Now she paints them on small, pink primed, square picture surfaces. With all the concentration, the conversation with passers-by is also sought and their comments are collected.
Finished pictures are mounted on small stilts made of wire and placed on the green spaces. A light, almost floating installation begins to proliferate into the public space. The unappetizing cigarette butts, which damage groundwater, plants and animals, have become aesthetic objects, revealing unimagined beauty and variety.
The campaign will be carried out on eight dates between June and September 2023 at various weekly markets in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Duration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
