Louis Chistian Hess - (Bozen 1895 - Schwaz 1944)
Austrian artist, german expressionist, member of Juryfreie in Munchen.
L.C. Hess, an artist who lived the tragedy of the two world wars.
As a man he belonged to the Lost Generation because he took part at the WWI and as an artist he belonged to the Forgotten Generation because member of the Juryfrie movement under the Nazi rule.
He lost most of his paintings in the Glaspalast arson in Munich in 1931
