Joseph Milne is an artist and filmmaker who since 2019 has been creating psychedelic pen and ink illustrations in a psychedelic art Nouveau style exploring themes of the occult, magick and
Jungian psychology.

So far he has created multiple cut-up short films, utilising collage techniques to make invocations to the collective subconscious in films that evoke the creation process and Draw parallels with occult practice.

He has also been involved in collaborative exhibitions with other artists exploring themes on metamorphosis, transience, and the tarot, applying his methods of combining psychology,
philosophy, psychedelia, and Art Nouveau and surrealistic techniques for his collages which explore psychogeography and a critical analysis of the subconscious or shadow side of a place.

Currently, he is working on a series of altars exploring a sense of place and the artistic process and a series of tarot cards, whilst developing his methods of making short films to work toward a multimedia sensory experience combining collage, film, large-scale illustration, sculpture, found objects, music, and performance.
