Conceived during the strictest lockdown, when, hideously, we were deprived of family and friends, imprisoned in our own homes, this piece expresses my feelings. That yellow is reaching out but finding no echo. Its natural inclination towards companionship is severed. There is loneliness and isolation, and only tiny points of contact. BUT… there is hope. The light is undimmed. It tries to find a way to connect. The light is reaching out.
